Chris Pahud - Tom Smith - Steve Rapson
"The Rounders" - 2010 was the first gathering of this group comprised of Chris Pahud, Tom Smith, Cheryl Perreault, and Steve Rapson. They have performed ‘In The Round’ together twice at the Homegrown Coffeehouse stage for “New Years Needham” and have featured at Open Mikes for Amazing Things Arts Center and The Parish Center for the Arts. Michael Troy accompanied them on their New Years 2011 outing. It promises to be a night of diverse themes and styles of music-sharing as well as performance of spoken word to guitar. The line up: Chris Pahud – singer, guitarist and occasional songwriter – currently has a CD called “Red Sky in Morning” receiving regional airplay on New England and New York Folk Music radio stations. www.reverbnation.com/chrispahud “Chris Pahud sings with all his heart and his heart is huge. His voice and songs come from such a beautiful place, I smile every time I hear him sing… and witness him doing what comes so natural to him.” - Mary Gauthier – Lost Highway Recording Artist Tom Smith – singer/songwriter and plays guitar, banjo, mandolin and harmonica among other instruments – Tom is an old time folkie – a performer of folk music that has stood the test of time, and original music in the same mold. Tom has over two dozen songs posted on his web site. www.tomsmithmusic.com/ “Tom Smith is an entertainer and educator of great imagination, patience, intelligence and humor. He never talks down to kids, and though he is often funny, is never ‘cute’. The adults wind up getting involved as much as the children.” - Janet Kamien, The Children’s Museum, Boston, Massachusetts Cheryl Perreault - Perreault's cadence-driven spoken word performances to guitar… spins stories about the light, the dark and the quirky aspects of daily life including making "car-talk", joys and foibles of parenting, pros and cons of 1970s flashbacks and the breathtaking saga of the little black dress. Perreault is also host of HCAM TV "Wake up and Smell the Poetry" and a two-time recipient of Mass Cultural Council award. Perreault and Rapson have recorded two CDs. www.cherylperreault.com "Cheryl Perreault's poetry is personal yet universal. Her warm heart embraces all and her humor engages the generations. She makes you laugh and warms the heart with thought." - Karen Perkins, Morse Institute, Natick Ma. Steve Rapson - singer/songwriter and author - Steve's debut CD, “Christmas Guitar”, is sold around the world. He has followed up with five more CD's: “Romantic Guitar”, “Half Irish Guitar”, “Patriotic Guitar”, and “Original Guitar”, each with a companion book of transcriptions. www.soloperformer.com
